Our clients first contacted us in March 2000 after poor service from another company. They quickly placed an order with us and were delighted with their newly installed PVCu windows and doors. A further order of two more windows followed the same year.

In 2007 our client returned looking for his traditional extension to be adapted to allow more natural light to flood the interior.

As this was a traditional stone building, the materials and design had to match the original style of the house.

After working closely with our clients, local authorities and structural engineer we concluded on the final design and commenced operations.

Working to our engineer’s specifications, we propped up the roof using steel acrows and carefully removed the existing two foot thick stonework. Using our certified structural steel support system the extension was safely adapted.  New hand carved sandstone was selected to match the existing colour and bedded in place ready for traditional style PVCu windows and doors with Georgian bars.

The traditional slate roof was also re-slated including replacement lead work. The internal walls were also insulated and re-plastered to a smooth finish.

A further order was placed for a solid oak timber door and once installed, completed all the modernisations. The end effect is stunning and allows for a completely new and fresh living experience.
