The Borders Book Festival Gets Our Backing

Mitchell Glass has been an enthusiastic supporter of local events, sports clubs and initiatives for many, many years.
Most recently, we have once again agreed to be a sponsor for the forthcoming Borders Book Festival, taking place from 16-19th June.

Held at Harmony House in Melrose, the Borders Book Festival is one of Britain’s premier literary events and over 4 days includes talks, discussions, food & drink demos, live music, comedy and more.

Established in 2004, it has grown in popularity every year since and attracts an audience well in excess of 5,000 people.

This year’s programme of events is very impressive and features well-known personalities from various fields including comedians Sara Pascoe and Phill Jupitus, actor Gregor Fisher, author Frederick Forsyth, politicians Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg, and food critic Jay Rayner.
