It was a sad farewell mixed with Christmas cheer for the Mitchells team on a recent night out as the team bid goodbye to Mike Liddle, who had worked with the Borders company for the last three years.
Mitchells wanted to give him a send off to remember so the team organised an Australian themed party at the Salmon in Galashiels. To make him feel at home everyone wore the ‘traditional’ Ozzie hat with corks and to remind him of his home from home, in the Scottish Borders, Mitchells presented him with an engraved quaich; which is Scotland’s friendship cup.
