• Why should I choose UPVC Fascias and UPVC Roofline over Wooden Fascias?

  UPVC is one of the most popular choices in the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh & The Lothians - with 85% of buildings benefiting from this cost effective, highly durable, environmentally friendly, safe, secure and robust product. It is now widely recognised that the maintenance burden and the technical performance of timber, especially for roofline, is no longer acceptable when compared with UPVC. UPVC roofline will not rot, warp, bend or discolour.

• Is UPVC environmentally friendly?

  UPVC is 100% recyclable and may be reused up to 10 times and more.

• Will my UPVC Fascias, Guttering or Cladding discolour?

  No, our UPVC roofline range has been manufactured to the highest technological standards for over 15 years. They do not suffer from discolouration, guaranteed!

• Is it better to have a thicker UPVC fascia boards installed?

  For full replacement rooflines, a 16mm UPVC fascia board is suitable as it's designed to carry the full weight of all types of roof tiles and guttering.

• In what circumstances is capping over timber acceptable?

  We recommend a full replacement of the old timber with UPVC roofline or our Cedar or Larch timber range. There are certain circumstances however where the use of cap-over boards is effective - flat roofs for example can be suitable for cap-over boards if you do not want to disturb the existing roof cover.

• Is Hollow Soffit suitable for use as Cladding?

  Hollow Soffit is only suitable for use as a Soffit Board, not as external cladding.

• What maintenance is needed for UPVC Roofline products?

  We suggest you clean your gutters with warm soapy water at least twice a year - late spring and late Autumn is the recommended times. If you live in a wooded area, clean them more frequently.

• What colours and finishes are available in your Roofline products?
