This project required the installation of a conservatory that would effortlessly blend in with the traditional character of the house. The functionality it offered also needed to satisfy various requirements. We achieved it by making sure that the bricks used in the brickwork base were exact replicas of the bricks of the house. We also coated the conservatory frames with a black woodgrain effect to create the impression that the extension had always been part of the property just like the similarly coloured windows that were already integrated into the building. The same black colour was also applied to the inside of the roof.
At the front face of the structure is a series of windows, including tilt & turn windows that push outwards to draw fresh air in. This will keep the entire space feeling cool. Whilst revelling in the cool atmosphere, eyes will be automatically transfixed on the very extensive glass roof. Glass heavily outweighs the amount of framework used to create the roof, meaning that you get the most spectacular aerial views. To complete the design, French doors were added for when anyone fancies sitting out on the patio in one of those rustic wooden chairs. Safe to say, they haven’t regretted this investment.
