Three of the most commonly found conservatory designs (Victorian, Edwardian and Gable) have been amalgamated together to create the T-shaped conservatory. This prominent T-shape makes it one of the most spacious conservatories you can buy; helped by the fact that it has a multi-faceted frontage. Creating the ‘T’ gave the occupants the opportunity to establish a seating area in the very centre of the design, complemented by the addition of both a dining table and snooker table so that lounging, eating and playing can all be enjoyed in one space.
Though you may not believe it at first, the conservatory hasn’t actually been crafted from timber (UPVC actually) and just contains a mahogany woodgrain finish. Neglecting wood eliminates the need for any future maintenance and counteracts the ageing process. While the brickwork base is substantial, we still managed to integrate fairly lengthy glazed panes into the design to ensure plenty natural sunlight gets in. When the sun goes down, there are always the shades above the snooker table and candle-armed lights to call upon for any required lighting after dark. With such a colourful garden surrounding it, the fitting of some French doors made sense and provides a nice escape route outdoors.
