The Johnstones travelled to our showroom in the hope of finding a modern new front door to suit their home, it was their inaugural introduction to our exclusive Extreme Solid Core Door range. Their current front door had aged badly, with it looking well past its best. Would you believe that the gradual breaking down of the door furniture was partly due to the family dog leaping up to operate the door handle so they could get in and out of the house!
They had been to our showroom once before and made a return visit so they could browse a wide selection of replacement doors in one location. Within no time of being there, it was our Extreme Solid Door range that stood out most to them.
An Extreme Solid Core Door contains multiple interlocking layers of timber and is stronger and more durable than just about any other door. Happily for the Johnstones, there are many hardware options for Extreme Solid Core doors, including a dog-proof bar handle!
From the collection, they went for the exquisite Fraser style in a tasteful Dark Truffle colour, complete with an elegant chrome Bar Handle and Zinc Art Finesse Glass.
It was a quick turnaround to remove the existing door and replace it with the new Dark Truffle Extreme Solid Door, needing only a few hours of workmanship. We offer our apologies to the dog, but are so pleased that the Johnstone family have such an affection for the new design.
