Aluminium orangeries will create an outstanding design in every aspect.

Externally, or internally, from an outdoor perspective or from the more relaxed perspective of your sofa, you’ll soon become aware that you are seeing superior design, superbly crafted when choosing an aluminium orangery. Whether your home is modern or traditional – Mitchell Glass will create the perfect design to enhance your property and complement it beautifully.

Aluminium is arguably the most contemporary style to incorporate into an orangery, particularly when it comes to bi-folding doors. Aluminium products are sleek and minimalist, facilitating a bigger glass area and letting in floods of light.

Aluminium Orangery
Deciding between an Orangery or Conservatory?

In the minds of many people, they consider extending with an orangery to be the most natural method of expanding a house as it can look perfectly coordinated with an existing space. What’s in its favour in that regard is the high volume of brickwork used in its design, which affords you lots of privacy.

The great thing about going bespoke with the design is that you can determine everything. One of your initial decisions will be to select either a traditional or contemporary orangery.

The roof is as important as anything else. The three main roofing systems that we have for our orangeries as the Classic Roof, Cornice Roof and Lantern Roof. A Classic Roof will be a beautifully subtle inclusion, one that is visually arresting, with the Cornice Roof and Lantern Roof sure to appeal if you want something more lavish. The detail that goes into each roof is quite extraordinary and really makes them stand out.

Crafted window handles...

Our craftspeople put a huge effort into the traditional and contemporary window handles that are affixed to the windows in your new orangery. It’s all about making opening and closing the windows an enjoyable feeling.

The secure locking system present within each handle will keep your windows securely fastened when locked.

Traditional Orangery or Contemporary Orangery?

Mitchell Glass can’t be accused of not offering its customers an abundance of choice. With one of our contemporary orangeries, you get all the bells and whistles you could possibly want. As with a traditional orangery, it has a solid brick structure and a very similar internal atmosphere. Basically, it has everything an orangery should have.

What you won’t see in a contemporary orangery is the flat perimeter around the roof that you get in a traditional orangery. But what they do share in common is they both offer a cost-effective living space.
