The biggest criticism you can level at older conservatories is that they provide a poor standard of thermal efficiency, which is no surprise as most old designs are manufactured from inefficient materials. There’s nothing pleasant about being inside a conservatory that’s exceptionally cold or hot.

When sat inside the structure, you will be able to gaze up through the roof windows and enjoy the most stunning imaginable views above your head and they’ll come in handy anytime you need to ventilate the additional living space, such as during the summertime.
