However, you can now get UPVC windows in just about any colour you can think of, or at least you can at Mitchell Glass. As an example, Chartwell Green is included in our colour palette, together with old favourites like Grey and Irish Oak.
There are different forms of glass available...
You will be fine having plain glass in the majority of your new windows, but there will be certain rooms in your house where you need that extra bit of privacy. That’s where our privacy glazing comes in useful as it will obscure what people on the outside can see when they look through e.g. a bathroom window. The use of privacy glazing in a window will not cause any loss of natural light as the sun will still get in.
