FIT Is A Worthwhile Trip For Mitchell Glass

We mentioned last month that three of the team were making the long journey south to the Fabricator Installer Trade (FIT) Show, the UK’s principal exhibition for the glass and glazing industry.
They were amongst over 8,000 visitors who flocked to Telford’s International Centre across three days, a 45% rise in footfall in comparison to the previous event held in 2014.

It turned out to be a very useful voyage as it gave the trio a real insight into the latest exciting developments in the home improvement sector.

Over 180 companies exhibited throughout the four halls of the venue, so there was plenty to see and plenty to like, and they all showcased their new products in some style.

They also attended the FIT Show Gala Dinner which had a Great Gatsby theme and featured song and dance routines, trapeze and fire-eating and juggling acts.

Once the entertainment had concluded it presented a further opportunity for the three of them to do some extra networking and establish new contacts in less formal surroundings.

We look forward to returning to FIT in May next year when it relocates to the larger NEC in Birmingham.
