Important Points About Conservatory Roof Replacements

Planning Permission and Building Regulations

Conservatory roof replacements can generally proceed with planning permission as they are considered permitted developments.

That’s not the case though if a roof upgrade would entail major alterations to an existing space or the relevant house is listed or in a conservation area.

Roofs must adhere to Building Regulations. For example, you’ll need to submit a Building Regulation Application if fitting a solid roof to an existing conservatory.
