Extend Home Living With An Extension This Spring

Spring has finally arrived much to the relief of everyone as we hopefully look forward to some warmer weather and as well as conducting the annual spring clean it’s a good time of year to contemplate making improvements at home.

We have been inundated with requests from local householders over the past few weeks, particularly for our stunning range of extensions which encompass a variety of conservatory and orangery designs. The below image is one such example.  We made a concerted effort to ensure that it beautifully complemented the windows, doors and roofline of the house so that it almost looked as though it was part of the original build. We were also exact when it came to positioning the extension as the last thing we wanted is for the glare of the sun to disrupt the enjoyment of the occupants at any time or for the building to overheat. The roofing system is highly dependable and will act in conjunction with the windows and doors to prevent any outdoor cold air from making its way into the structure and any hot air from escaping so that it remains energy efficient at all times. Notice the inclusion of a stylish set of doors in the design too which will inevitably come into operation on a regular basis over the coming months whenever the owners get the urge to go out into the garden. We can imagine there being plenty garden parties held here during the summer. All that remains is to accessorise the inside of the extension so that it fits with the functionality desires of those who have invested in it. If you like what you see and fancy a home extension of your own then call into our Galashiels showroom and have a chat with one of our consultants.
