We don’t think sash windows will ever become unfashionable as they have timeless styling and despite existing for so long, continue to appeal to homeowners. The only way their look can be enhanced is with the addition of Georgian bars. They’re hugely effective at giving a sash window extra character, as proven in the above example. As you would expect of any good sash window, the can be operated open via the moveable panel that you can slide vertically upwards to generate an opening. These sash windows do differ though from traditional sash windows are they’re built using UPVC, not timber.
An exceptional fondness for Georgian bars also saw them being added to the new French doors and their accompanying side panels. French doors are a must-have item if you want to flit between indoor and outdoor living at your own leisure and we strongly expect that to be the case here as there’s a lovely patio waiting to be used. The new arched sash window is another notable addition and was expertly designed by our talented craftsman before being carefully integrated by the fitters. To complete the transformation, a classic black coloured composite door was put in the entrance way and offers an imposing look.
